One of the top questions I am asked all the time is “what virtual assistant services can I offer with no experience?”
News flash! Just because you don’t have experience as a virtual assistant does not mean that you do not have any experience. Are you confused yet? Let’s talk this out and let me ask you a few questions.
Do you manage your own email inbox and calendar?
Do you participate in Facebook groups?
Do you comment on social media posts?
Do you post your own social media content?
Do you see where I’m going with this? Just because you do not have real time “virtual assistant experience” does not mean you do not have any applicable experience.
Are you having an aha moment yet? You need to switch your mindset to think about the things that you do in your personal life and current and precious jobs as relevant experience.
Here are just a few ideas of services you can start offering right now in your virtual assistant business with “no experience”.
Email Management
Setting up folders, labels, adding filters, responding to emails, etc
Calendar Management
Time blocking, scheduling and rescheduling client meetings, auditing, etc.
Online Community Management
Approving members to private groups, moderating groups based on community standards, replying to comments with helpful resources, etc.
Social Media Engagement
Commenting and replying to comments, engaging with stories, engaging with new accounts, etc.
Social Media Scheduling
Scheduling content that has already been created across multiple platforms.
These are just a few examples of services you can offer right away without have any technical experience. There are so many more services that virtual assistant’s can offer. I recommend not offering more than 3-5 services at any given time. Be sure to check out another blog post HERE with some more ideas for services you can offer!
